Baratti and Populonia

The Gulf of Baratti and Populonia are only 10 km away and can also be easily reached by bicycle, through the nearby country roads.

They are archaeological sites of significant importance, evidence of the Etruscan civilization that has long inhabited our areas. They are one of our favorite destinations.

In addition to the unquestionable beauty of the long beach and the clear water you can spend nice evenings by our friend Bernardo at the “baracchina di baratti”, where you can drink excellent cocktails and have snacks accompanied by the sunset over the sea and musical evenings with local groups.

The ancient Etruscan center of Populonia is just a few kilometers from us and it is worth seeing as, in addition to offering a very nice town with stalls, bars and a small Etruscan museum, it offers a spectacular view of the sea.

The Rimigliano Park is about 4 km away and easily accessible.

It is a vast area rich in Mediterranean maquis, which can be crossed on foot or by bicycle.

Adjacent is a beautiful dark beach and the water is clean but deeper.

At the main entrance there is the “Lago Verde”, a refreshment point where you can eat cold dishes, excellent sandwiches and excellent mohito drinks, in the company of good music in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

After dinner it is strongly advisable for the musical events that our friend Francesco organizes and manages at its best, hosting prominent reggae music personalities.
